Will buying pink and white M & M's help
breast cancer research?
Well,
it did. M & M's had a short lived promotion like this.
It ended in December 2003, yet the message didn't really get
going until after the promotion ended. HOWEVER, M&M's
started the promotion again in October 2004. The program
once again ended in December 2004. During these promotions
I never saw any pink and white M&M's in our stores.
However, there are some questions
about some of the Komen Foundations in some cities giving money
to Planned Parenthood. The Foundation denies that they are tied
up with them, but certainly some cities chapters have been
giving money to their local Planned Parenthood.

Pass this on to all of
your friends. There are many women out there who have breast cancer.
Lets do all we can to support this cause. New Pink & White M&M's.
The makers of M&M candies has teamed up with the Susan G. Komen
Breast Cancer Foundation to raise funds through the sale of their
new "pink & white" M&M candies. For each 8-ounce bag of the special
candies sold, the makers of M&M (Masterfoods) will donate 50 cents
to the foundation.
The next time you want a treat, please pick up a bag (now sold in
stores nationwide)--you will be donating to a great cause and
satisfying your sweet tooth.
Please pass this on to all your family and friends.
